How We Are Organized To Serve
Our Staff
Rev. Chad Garinger, his wife, Kelly and their children Hannah and Timothy joined our ministry team in September, 2010. The Lord has uniquely prepared the Garingers and our church for this ministry partnership. Pastor Chad was raised in Topeka, Kansas. Kelly, a junior high English teacher, was raised near Chicago, Illinois. They met and fell in love in Hampton, Virginia and have lived as a family in Massachusetts, Illinois and now Ohio. Their prayer is that God would bless them with an ever-growing wisdom and compassion for God’s family and the mission field of Scioto County. Pastor Chad, an avid Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan, also enjoys spending time with people, watching movies and applying popular film quotes and music lyrics to biblical truth. Prior to serving as a lead pastor, Pastor Chad served as a youth pastor in several churches in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois, West Virginia, Massachussetts and Virginia. Our pastor has a great tragedy to triumph story of God’s miraculous working in his life. Our leadership team is made up of volunteers elected to two-year terms by the members of the church. These volunteers serve on a board of Trustees and Stewards. In addition, leaders of our Missions Ministries (NMI) and Sunday School & Discipleship Ministries (SDMI) also serve on the Board in two-year terms. Pastor Chad serves as the Chairman of the Board. We don’t always agree, but we always support the majority’s decisions in unity. It’s truly a blessing to serve with this team. These are the current elected board members: Rev.
